San Francisco: When multimedia design and branding firm 300FeetOut undertook the task of creating a new website and brand identity for a notoriously demanding client—300FeetOut—the challenges were daunting. “The client was only available to work with us at unpredictable moments, mostly late at night, between other, presumably more pressing obligations,” recalls 300FeetOut VP, Operations Barbara O. Stephenson. “Considering the time constraints and the client’s strong but indecisive opinions—about every last little thing—we’re satisfied and relieved to have completed 'Project Moonlight' in just over eight months” (Stephenson notes that the usual rate of project execution is a small fraction of that time). The design team’s efforts were not for naught: the 300FeetOut website was named a “Standard of Excellence” in the 2008 WebAwards competition.
